Proudly Mexican/French artist. He was bathed into visual arts from the cradle, notably through his father "Aaron Hinojosa" (Renown French sculptor artist) as a visual artist, Pezio's first creations date back further than he can remember.
After his father's passing Pezio Hinojosa decided to professionalize himself to make art his profession.
Among his sources of inspiration, his father obviously, the designer Claude Ponti as well, but he claims above all a spontaneous creation. Pezio uses art as a channel of expression of the unconscious, almost a therapy that allows him to exteriorize and reveal buried emotions that he deciphers once placed on his canvas.
His first complete project, the series of dreamlike line drawings “Astrorêve”, is of particular importance to him. In addition to the exhilarating observation that he was capable of such a work, it earned him an exhibition in Nice alongside international artists. For the rest, he plans to release a children's book in total independence he is also currently moving more towards the layout, the writing of history in particular with "BLU" which is his first edition called Fanzine (which is for sale on his Instagram).
To follow his creations:
“I fight through my creative processes to help people open up, let the imagination take over, and just dig a little deeper. not necessarily in drawing or plastic arts etc. But in their everyday life. Help people move towards a certain positivity in their daily life. Finding happiness, love, peace, sometimes even resilience in relation to death: which are the three themes that come up in almost all of my works. I think It must come from my Mexican origins.”
- Pezio Hinojosa
